Lady with Polkadots

Ok, so it's been a while since I've put something of my own up here, but finally - the other night I found some time to sit down with my new sketchbook to draw something. I was flicking through a fashion mag and this girl really stood out. I really loved her pose, her hair and her shirt so I thought it would be a fun one to draw.
I drew it with pencils and then took it into Photoshop to have a go at colouring it with green and cream.
I can't decide which I like more!

  1. I like the green and cream pic. But then I am a fool for green.

  3. It has been a while, but i took my pen and drew upon my time that I have little of.
The first stroke was painful. Then the second. oh. That was painfull too. Then the third, ahh, and the streaks and stokes oohed and ahhed and flowed as my hand weaved and waved and woke the silence of my mind to create. I drew a breath.
oh, I can do that. I drew another breath and before me, slowly it became clear.
There was me. it was me, slightly drawn but it was me.
